Where Is the Gelato Made?

Welll….glad you asked. We have a gelato lab. And yes, a “lab” sounds really nerdy & filled with science tools, but that’s really what it’s called. Gelato is science. It is all about chemistry and finding the balance in recipes. In our gelato lab, we handcraft each of our recipes from scratch. That means we take the time to weigh out every individual gram of sugar, gram of milk, and gram of fat to create unique flavors and frozen treats.

The balance is very important in order to obtain the correct texture, flavor, and mouth feel in every recipe. The tools we have in the lab are essential to gelato production. Each step in creating this frozen dessert is very important and our equipment is what helps us maintain control of what we’re making.
